On 25 April and 12 May 2015, Nepal suffered a devastating earthquake, killing nearly 9,000 people and injuring nearly 22,000.

Human Act has established a local branch in Mashhad, and is in the process of register a Iranian nation-wide non-governmental organization in Iran.
The aim of our local branch in is to establish several orphanages for girls. Iranian orphanages do receive government funding. However, the support is minimal and not enough to maintain their facilities and cover all the children’s needs.Learn more
In February 2017, Human Act initiated the process of establishing a school and an orphanage in Lira District, Uganda.

The founder of Connecther, Lila Igram, has shown that women and girls in developing countries are powerful and have strong voices. Her accomplishment are admirable, and their was no doubt in our mind that we had to support Connecther's influential work.
