Christmas Letter from Santa

Dear Friends,

I’ve been at this whole “spreading joy and cheer” gig for centuries, but this year… well, let’s just say my sleigh feels heavier than ever. I’ve checked the list (twice, obviously), but the reality is, no matter how much magic I muster, there are still so many children out there who won’t wake up to the kind of Christmas they deserve.

Why? Because Christmas magic isn’t enough to fix the real problem: Poverty.

You see, while a few lucky folks out there have wealth stacked higher than the North Pole’s tallest icebergs, so many others are struggling just to get by. Families are working hard and still can’t give their children the basics—let alone the Christmas of their dreams. And let’s be honest, even Santa’s workshop has its limits.

 

But here’s the thing:

I’ve had a little chat with my friend Djaffar (a wise fellow, you’d like him), and he reminded me of something important. Santa isn’t just me. Santa is all of us.
