Together with local partners in Nepal, Human Act has helped rebuild private homes for the poorest families in the Dolakha district who (still today) have suffered from the consequences of a massive earthquake in 2015 which killed 9000+ people.
Photo: Govinda Shiwakoti, a farmer in the Kalinchok rural municipality (district of Dolakha, Nepal), is preparing to plant seeds of a local chili which can also be used as medicine for gastritis (inflammation of the stomach). The local authorities and Human Act have lent Govinda a small piece of land for free to produce his crops.
